Finishing Options
Traditional & Modern Techniques
Broken chair legs & backs
Snapped legs, cracked chair backs, broken arm joints — reglued, and clamped for a lasting structural fix. Handled gently and with care.
Split or cracked table tops
Seasonal movement, impact cracks, and delaminated veneer. We fill, stabilize, and sand flat before refinishing.
Pet Damage
Scratches, chewed edges, and gouges from claws or teeth, blended back into the surrounding finish seamlessly.
Heat Damage
White rings, pizza box burns, and heat blistering. We lift the damage and restore the original finish.
Water and Chemical Damage
Water stains, chemical spills, and black water marks in the wood grain — treated at the source.
Drawer Glides & Hardware
Broken drawer runners, sticking drawers, and worn slides repaired or replaced.

We manufacture missing or broken pieces
If your antique is missing inlay, moulding, a turned leg, or hardware, we can fabricate a replacement that matches the original. This is one of the things that sets us apart many shops won't take on this kind of work.
Common Questions
Repairs FAQ
Can you fix a repair someone else already attempted?
Yes , we clean up the previous attempt, remove failed glue, strip mismatched filler, and do it properly. Sometimes this takes more time than a fresh repair, but we'll tell you upfront.
Do I need to refinish the whole piece if one area is repaired?
Not necessarily. Minor repairs can often be blended invisibly into the existing finish. We only recommend a full refinish when the damage is extensive or the existing finish is too worn to blend into.
What's the quickest repair you can do?
Touch-ups and minor blending can sometimes be done same-day or within a few days. Structural repairs typically take 1–2 weeks. We'll give you an honest timeline at drop-off.
