Common Questions

Repairs FAQ

  • Can you fix a repair someone else already attempted?

Yes , we clean up the previous attempt, remove failed glue, strip mismatched filler, and do it properly. Sometimes this takes more time than a fresh repair, but we'll tell you upfront.

  • Do I need to refinish the whole piece if one area is repaired?

Not necessarily. Minor repairs can often be blended invisibly into the existing finish. We only recommend a full refinish when the damage is extensive or the existing finish is too worn to blend into.

  • What's the quickest repair you can do?

Touch-ups and minor blending can sometimes be done same-day or within a few days. Structural repairs typically take 1–2 weeks. We'll give you an honest timeline at drop-off.
